Symantec not updating server
When you launch the SEPM console locally on the server, you are prompted to enter administrator credentials. After you enter your login information, the login screen appears to hang and the SEPM manager never launches.I've already found this one: now to my question: Is it possible that the whol GRT thing doesnt work anyhow???Additional Clarification: The Intelligent Updater files are designed to update client installs for SEP or SAV only. For further assistance, contact Symantec Support services.

Right-click on the “dbsrv11“ service, then click the option to stop the service.
Next, open File Explorer and navigate to “C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\db.” (On a 64-bit machine, use "Program Files (x86)" instead of "Program Files.") Find the “sem5.log” file, then rename the file extension.
For example, change the name to “sem5” Next, regenerate a new sem5file by opening a command prompt and changing to the “C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\ASA\win32\” directory (again, using the correct path if you have a 64-bit machine).
Run the following command at the prompt: dbsrv11 -f "C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\db\sem5After the log file is regenerated, force-start the SEMP service using the tool.
These files do not contain the required files needed by a SEPM or SAV Parent to additionally update any clients attached.
